Most of the English in this thread is horrible at best. But carry on.

"at the best"

That is incorrect. Better luck next time!
What's the point of a thread like this? Just to give people a change to bash on each others grammar and vocabulary?
Please bare in mind that most of the messages written in Finnish at this forum are also terribly written, if focusing purely on grammar.
The OP would be better of buying or lending a book or a magazine written in English. Also, the hardest part is actually to speak in a foreign language. THAT's what people should practise, IMO.
All the best.
I wonder if the initiator of this thread (chain ;-) has any chances to speak English.
Let's have a poll, how many of you use English on weekly basis or more often?
I speak English daily at my work.

What is wrong with you people here? Why is it such a pleasure to point out little weaknesses, typos and grammatical errors in the posts of the others?
Unbelievable!

Thanks for actually initiating a topic!
I live in the UK (Glasgow, to be more exact) and unsurprisingly speak, write and read English every day, all day - whether you actually count the Glaswegian banter as English is another matter entirely. I have one Finnish-speaking friend in the entire city, and she's spending her summer vacation in the USA this year, so I acutally miss speaking Finnish quite a lot. Thank heavens for Skype.
Another question for the people in this thread: What do you think of the Finnish accent? I lost mine quite early on after moving here (and apparently sound Irish to my fellow classmates and coworkers which I find absolutely hilarious), and funny enough I've started to miss it. Locals think it's either funny, cute or sexy, but most of my Finnish friends claim that they're ashamed of it.

LOL at the pompous posters correcting other people's grammar while making cringeworthy typos/mistakes themselves!
Why there is so many finnish words in this nice chain because we are supposed to speak in english! It is very confusing for me! Today I have been cleaning my house and now the sun is shining. It is very nice. Now I go to eat. Maybe I eat some very nice food. Okey, goodbye now!

It's the spirit of this site.
Once there was a thread with a question and a grammatical error in the heading. After ten posts there wasn't a single answer the the starter's question, only comments about the error.
On the other hand this thread was started with the idea to practice the language, so it kind of justifies to correct the mistakes.

Alright dear, go and fetch the dogs now!
Do we discuss typical brain on holiday -topics?
So do you prefer breast or bottle feeding?
Sadly I have no chance to speak English anymore. I lived in the UK over six years but now I am stuck here in Finland, countryside. There isn't any chance meeting foreign people unfortunately. Only Turkish people and all of them speak really good Finnish. Well, now it looks like thunder is near by, must shut computer and go hide somewhre as I am terrifeid of lighting!! Bye!

Please hide away your naked boobs in public places! If your baby needs to eat you can go to a wc and eat there. Thank you!
Actually, you might want to say toilet or bathroom instead of wc - most native speakers are like "Huh?" if you use wc (dabljuusii).
Yeah, sorry, just crossed my mind. :)
