Emails released as part of the Epstein files (around 2013), Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit mentioned a doctor warning her about smoking in relation to lung issues. 

In correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein (who was advising her on quitting smoking, exercise, etc.), she wrote to Epstein: "I don't know if I told you but the doctor warned me about the smoking when he examined my lungs. At first they thought it was a blood clot. Only dark shadows from small things I don't know the names of screaming for fresh air."
