EU:n digipalveluasetuksessa (DSA, Digital Services Act) säädetään digipalveluiden tarjoajille, kuten verkkoalustoille, velvollisuuksia palvelujen avoimuuden ja turvallisuuden parantamiseksi. Asetuksen soveltaminen alkoi helmikuussa 2024. Suomessa digipalveluasetuksen valvonta on jaettu Traficomin, tietosuojavaltuutetun toimiston, kuluttaja-asiamiehen ja valtiontalouden tarkastusviraston kesken.

The EU Digital Services Act (DSA) establishes obligations for providers of digital services, such as online platforms, to improve the transparency and safety of their services. The Regulation became applicable in February 2024.
In Finland, the supervision of the Digital Services Act is shared between the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom), the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, the Consumer Ombudsman, and the National Audit Office of Finland.
