Suomi--->Englanti Käännös, apua
Säästöneuvotteluissa pohdittiin lasketaanko työntekijöiden kuukausipalkkoja 4 % vai 150 €.
a) Lauralle kumpikin vaihtoehto tuotti saman tuloksen. Mikä oli Lauran palkka?
b) Mikalle jälkimmäinen vaihtoehto oli 35 € edullisempi. Kuinka suuri oli Mikan palkka?
Could somebody translate this into English for me please?
Thank you very much.

Welcome to the real finnish world, only thing you can find here is vultures and mentally sick individuals, so do not do the same mistake twice and ask any help from here. I feel sorry for you. (I apologize my lousy English)

You'll also find kitchen psychologists who can diagnose people from two lines they write.
[/quote]
First of all, psychologist does not giagnose people at all, no matter what!

People usually pay for translating services.

Come on dawg, don't do me like that.

That would be engineering. I would be very happy if Finnish univerisity curricula in math included highschool math. I would top up :D
I need its translation because I don't know Finnish my friend.

Wrong. "A psychologist evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and studies behavior and mental processes". Psychologists in Finland don't do diagnoses. As we are writing in English, using English terms, I suppose the words are used as they are defined in that language.

Are you applying to uni that the language of instruction is in Finnish? Or are you applying to university at all... i have a hunch that it is UAS that you are thinking. That question seems sooo basic that it wouldn't be asked even when applying to bachelors. And proper universities don't have English as option during bachelors.

Yes my brother, the problem is taken from a 2014 exam sample provided by Helsinki Metropolia UAS. It is one of the shortest problems in the sample.
You are spot on. The research-oriented universities in Finland offer English programs at only master level. What's why I choose UAS as Finnish is not a joke for me to learn.
Helsinki Metropolia UAS is not a university.
I wouln't call "university of applied sciences" a university, it's funny if someone does.

Whatever you want to call it. As long as it offers English programs I will hop in.

'University' refers to place you'll get academic education and "university of applied sciences" doesn't offer you that.
Why is the entrance exam in Finnish if the studies are in English? Or weren't there any English examples available?
Mistapain maailmaa olet vai oletko viela paattanyt etnisyytesi? Kirjoituksesi ovat taynna epaloogisuuksia.
Yo'all = Y'all, Southern expression
Dawg = phonetic way to write how dog is pronounced in Southern States.
Borther = brother
Come on dawg don't do me like that = mix of Southern speak and Northern Black Ghetto
Curricula in math = curriculum in math
I would top up??? = you top up the gas tank :)
Backwoods twats = rude and demeaning expression learned from cheap movies.
So what are you? Pretend gangsta trying to get an education and better him/herself?

I can study at a research-oriented institution at master's degree level as plenty of them out there.

Because the structure in English and Finnish exams is the same. There are also some samples provided in English but they are much fewer than that of Finnish, so I try to translate the Finnish ones to practice but barely understand what they mean.
