Monella yhtyeellä ei ole ainuttakaan hittiä, että itse olisin yhteenkin tyytyväinen. Ei ole kaikilla pitkän linjan artisteillakaan, esimerkiksi en muista yhtään biisiä Arja Korisevalta, vaikka hänkin ollut jo tosi pitkään julkisuudessa.

Kuuntelin The Crashiä silloin, kun se oli aktiivinen, mutta en muista kuin tuon yhden kappaleen. Muut eivät tainneet olla kovin mieleenpainuvia.
Sugared oli Crashin läpimurtohitti ennen Laurenia.
Ja joka levyltä tuli sinkkuhitti johon woodpeckerin Tommi Pietilä teki törkeen hienon videon, kestää nykypäivänäkin vertailun. YouTubesta löytyy The Crash -haulla. Mm. Star ja Still alive. Lisäksi esim big ass love, poni ride jne.
Sinead OConnor on ylistetty, mutta oliko hänellä ikinä muita hittejä kuin se nothing compares? En ole koskaan kuullut.

Tiedän Lou Reedin historian perusteellisesti ja omistan useita levyjään. Mutta jos hiteistä puhutaan, niin mielestäni Walk On the Wild Side on ainoa sellainen!
