I'm living in Kontula, But why i feel like i am living in a gangsters paradise?
For context, I'm a male from Southeast asia, living near the metro of Kontula. I have few stories to tell before you judge my statement.
On my way home, while carrying a bag of rice, a teenage guy (looks like a middle eastern) suddenly shouts at my face for no apparent reason.
While sitting down on the bench waiting for the train, a guy (presumably somalian) threw an empty pack of soda bottle on me and flew off like nothing happened.
This was happened yesterday, 2 teenage guys (drunk finnish) threw a bird feeds to an old gentleman while the man was minding his own business walking to the metro. He was pissed of but did nothing cause he was on a roolaatori.
Lastly, two gentleman was fighting (both guys have a long sideburns and kakhi pants) then all of a sudden the other guy get a knife from his pocket attempting to stab the other guy.
This all happened in a span of one month. I am fully aware of Kontula's reputation since i saw a post of another guy who posted about a drunk guy who entered the premises of his friend's apartment.
But i could not believe that it can occur almost in a daily basis. I am thinking of leaving this place to find another peaceful city.
Any recommendations in mind?

Get the hell out of East-Helsinki area. Try West parts for example
Opettele syömään kunnon ruokaa. Riisi on stereotyyppistä trollien evästä.
Painu kotiis tai vaikka hel vet tiin.
I don't think so. I live in Kontula too but I haven't seen any gangster here. I think it's only a myth.
I think it's best to avoid hanging at night.
