Käärijä ja Bojan fiilistelyketju

Vierailija

Tehdäänkö oma ketju tälle <3. Itse jaksan ainakin fiilistellä kaikkia julkaisuja ym., mutta ehkä eivät enää suoraan kuulu UMK tai Euroviisuketjuihin...

However, during Eurovision, K. also indirectly flirted with Marco Mengoni by posting Marco's photo and commenting: "Does anyone know if he's single?".

V

Among other things, the journalist who wrote the article, as well as being happy and hypothesizing a future story between Marco and K., also stated that K. was 19 years old and, strangely, also the Italian Eurovision commentator said that K. was 19 years old.

🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼

But then again, one of the members of the Italian Eurovision jury stated in a newspaper article he wrote after the competition that he liked the entry from CZECHOSLOVAKIA (Luke Black) so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. This dude (ancient, no age racism but you could tell he was not exactly of a modern mindset from the article) also called Käärijä a clown and in general spoke really badly about him (and other entries, including Croatia and Sweden) & lamented the fact that the jury's opinions don't count more (!).

Most people, even the ones directly involved like the commentators seem to be very poorly informed about the other entries, and almost making fun of them and the whole competition (not even in a nice way like the Brits for example). Obviously not including the Italian entry which is always considered "serious music" and superior to everyone else...

(Sorry but having lived in Italy for 20 years and being a life long ESC fan, this really pisses me off)

They've only had a few concerts in Serbia before this year. I think there is even no proper recording of their concert from Exit 2022 festival. At least I can't find it anywhere. Then there was that weird performance on TV where they are jumping on trampolines. Am I missing any others?

Then this year's concerts I'm sure you've seen all of them online.

As far as I remember, there was never a rainbow flag in the Serbian and Croatian concerts. That means, no fan has given one to them at a concert there.

I don't think there was any cheekyness between the guys on stage either, no.

Hi LadySLO! I've been wondering: How big a star is Bojan in Slovenia? Meaning, is he the kind of celebrity who "everyone" knows, as it seems he's been on television quite a lot. Is he generally more known than Joker Out?

Yes, I think most people know him, including people who don't know his music or the band. As you mentioned, he's been on a lot of TV shows, prime-time shows that have high visibility, he also hosted the national ESC and pre-selection, he's acted in that TV series, he appeared in a few commercials....

I personally knew him as the host etc as well. I did know he was in a band, but I saw him on TV so many times before I actually started paying attention to his music. It wasn't until one of their songs appeared in a major telecom company advertisement that I noticed their music is good.

Thanks! I wonder how it will pan out in a place like Poland where they have a whole bunch of shows, the country is very conservative but like in most European countries, the youth is probably still much less homophobic (I assume),

You are absolutely right. But those with a young mentality (like me) know how to appreciate different things and from different countries. There would be a need for the "old" ones to learn to be less parochial and more open abroad. And I apologize for the Italian people who have offended K.

Yes, absolutely. Even though they are so young, it feels to me like they have already been through a lot in terms of changes in the band. As you know, two members were replaced. They also broke up for a while. If I remember correctly, they had some "creative differences" with Kris. Not sure if you guys know about this. That's when B tried solo career. But from what I remember what he said in some interview is that he very quickly realized that he works better in a team, and they got back together. I guess they were able to work out those differences too and the rest is history.

Yes I have many mostly younger (under 30) Italian friends who love ESC and I have definitely seen a huge change compared to 10 or even 5 years ago. I guess what really infuriates me is that ESC is supposed to be about celebrating unity and a kind of coming together of the different cultures in Europe, not about your country being the best and the rest being shit 😅.

The funny thing is that San Marino has a totally different approach to ESC. They love it and the commentators in their national TV are amazing and clearly really enthusiastic about the whole thing.

For many years when Italy was not participating, I followed ESC on San Marino TV and continued to do so even after they started showing it on RAI because I really cannot stand the RAI commentators.

Now that they stream it I just watch on YouTube so I there's no ad breaks 😁.

Sorry for the off topic/lupaan lopettaa jankkaamisen tähän viestiin 😉

Ketju on lukittu.
