Just so you know... this strip was inspired by a lovely man named Tom Chesser who lives in Nova Scotia and rescues dogs with missing limbs and other parts. He calls them "broken dogs" but in reality, he puts them back together with lots of love. Annie is one of his many dogs. What Tom Chesser has said to me: "People don't realize that they would give up nothing to take in one of these dogs, but would receive a world of love from them." Check out his FB page!
