I believe it's is because you made so many mistakes. But super that you want to learn :) Just keep on writing and talking, that is the best way to learn a new language!
You have two mistakes in your little response tho... Maybe you should also keep writing and talking!
I love non-snooty persons. You shouldn't brag about your skills.

Who's bragging?
Vierailija kirjoitti:
Kimi is the rudest there is. Many Finns are.
Kimi can't hold the candle against regular AV cunt when it comes to rudeness.

Who's bragging?
Someone who overemphasizes excellent language skills over humanity. Someone who's not forgiving. Not pointing any fingers.

Fingering would be rude.
Oh the humanity!
(ten points and a parrot badge to whom knows the related incident without googling)

That's true.
I think it's a Finnish thing to undermine excellence. If you're an average Finn and anyone does anything better than you, your gut reaction is to attack that person rather than try and improve your own performance. I've seen this so many times. Maybe the inability to admit your faults somehow stems from the way children are brought up here, without warmth or love. People are so ashamed of themselves that it's too painful for them to admit that they are not very good at something.
I know many foreigners who have become depressed in Finland because of the constant rudeness and lack of sociability and the little gentilesses that are commonplace elsewhere.
Maybe it's polite to talk about shit all the time in Finnish company.

Do you have "warmth or love" in your own words?
Hello! I´m new to this conversation. I just wrote an apologetic note via email to my penpal or should I say would have been my penpal if I have had time to write her sooner. Anyway I asked her could I still write to her back and that I´m really sorry for being such an asshole and not replyed.
My question to all is what more can I do and is there something wrong with my text?

*hold a candle to* and it's a bit rude to refer to writers here as 'cunts'.

I have warmth and love in my life, so have no trouble accepting reality.

And where's the text? Just to be sure, you could tell her she's the best thing that's happened to you since Christmas. That's Christmas 2002.

No it's not when cunts' sole purpose is to nitpick about inconsequential prepositions.
