Käännös:
''In June, the Agriculture and Food Board, in cooperation with Varjupaikade MTÜ and the police, rescued 27 dogs from one experience in Lääne-Virumaa who lived in terrible conditions - they were not provided with medical care or even drinking water. The whole rescue operation started thanks to an attentive animal friend who passed on a hint about dogs to the Estonian Society for the Protection of Animals. From there, the information was already moving on, and thanks to the animal protectors, we reached a place where dogs were kept in very poor conditions.
The dogs were malnourished and their bodies were covered with scars, scabs and wounds. There was an unbearable smell in the house where the dogs lived and there was no air in the room at all. Some of the tall dogs were obviously too small for the show cages. In addition, there were four younger characters in one cage, and in the midst of all this confusion were small puppies, nearly 1 month old, with big eyes staring at the entrants. The floors were covered with feces and urine, dirty rags were floating everywhere, and no water bowl was visible anywhere. The dogs were injured and sick - one of the mothers who was breastfeeding a small puppy had a femoral fracture. A veterinary inspection of the shelter revealed that he had had a fracture for about a month.

When transporting dogs to Tallinn
The tear glands of several dogs required surgical intervention. The Estonian Mastiff Breed Association, Jäägriabi and the Estonian Animal Welfare Society helped. Employees were waiting in the Tallinn animal shelter to receive the dogs. The working day of the animal protectors ended at 3 at night. A veterinary inspection the following day revealed that all the animals were malnourished, that the bitches had abnormally stretched nipples due to excessive calving, that many had tumors, that some had surgical intervention on the lacrimal glands, and that the dog's bodies were covered with scars, scabs, and wounds. In addition, it became clear that they are non-socialized and afraid of people. Among the rescued dogs were two pregnant dogs who later gave birth to a total of 11 puppies in the shelter.
Yogi Bear was pregnant at the time of the rescue. Her nipples are abnormally stretched and she needs surgery for breast cancer.
Twisty arrived at the shelter with a femoral fracture and five small puppies.

Shelter staff and volunteers work with dogs on a daily basis so that they learn to trust the person and can soon find their first loving homes. However, dogs must be treated before they can be moved to new homes. The treatment and procedures for all 27 rescued dogs will cost a total of approximately 10,000 euros.''

Jatkuu.. ''Some dogs are very timid and not yet ready to go home. Therefore, they do not have a website either. We are actively engaged in their socialization and hopefully we will be able to add advertisements and pictures of all dogs to the website soon.''
Pahoittelen pitkästä uutisesta. Ajattelin kuitenkin julkaista tämän. Aina puhutaan pentutehtailijoiden voitoista eikä koskaan niistä kuluista joita he aiheuttavat muiden maksettavaksi.
