You probably would get the advice you need if you google bonsai. YouTube has some great vids about the subject as well. Got lost in there one night, was looking for videos about traditional garden flowers in finland, and found tons of in-door, as well as garden flower videos.

Growing bonsai actually means you have to restrict their growth. Like having an animal in a cage and cutting of the parts grow longer and bigger.

I myself practice the art of freeing the bonsais. I bought a bonsai tree (a gajumaru) and I let it grow freely as it wishes.
