I just can't get over my former boyfriend :(

You guys may wonder why I'm typing this in English, but it's because I just feel like it and it's good practice as well. So anyway...

Our relationship was short, as usually, when it's about me... I really thought that this man is the one who I want to, and will be with, like many many years. I'd love to say "forever" but it sounds kind of childish Ithink... But I was definitely prepared to put effort into that relationship. Sucks to realize it was all just pointless :(

So after many struggles my boyfriend left me using reasons "I'm not ready to settle down" and "this all fighting is just too much to me." I felt like I've been screwed very, very badly.

We yelled to each other at phone like nutcases, then we calmed down for a while and then we yelled and defamed each other again. Then we finally finished being rude and talked a little.
At the moment our situation is that we are not friends and not together. We decided to take a little break and look how we feel about each other after it.

It's so stupid that I do realize all the bad and shitty things about him but STILL I can't think about myself being with someone else or alone. I just feel that we are meant to be, I just feel like it :( Even though it sounds naive and stupid and I get
that...

I just wanted to ask you guys to share some happy ending stories with me so I could carry on a little bit better and get some hope :/
