Ei kai teinityttärelläsi ole BOY LONDONIN VAATTEITA?

Boy London on tämä tämän hetken must have -merkki teinityttöjen keskuudessa. Työkaverin tyttärellä oli tänään tuollainen paita yllään ja kiinnitin siihen heti huomiota tutun näköisen kotkan takia. Työpaikalla googlattiin yhdessä Hitlerin kehittämä kotka-natsilogo ja ne ovat kuin ovatkin identtiset! Meni kuulemma tytön paita siltä istumalta roskiin.
"Yes it's related to the Nazis, in the late 70's and early 80's Boy London was just BOY a Punk Boutique on the Kings Rd. owned by Stephan Raynor and chief rival to Vivienne Westwood's Seditionaries Boutique. Like Seditionaries BOY used a lot of Nazi imagery, one of it's earliest designs under the BOY Label was a silk screen print of Adolf Hitler's portrait. The Eagle began as a t-shirt print as well, the earliest was sold when the shop was called Acme Attractions and included the swastika below the Eagle, this shirt was owned by Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols. When the shop changed it's name to BOY they cut the swastika off and added the BOY logo instead. When celebrities like Boy George and Madonna became BOY regulars the shop re branded itself as Boy London a label marketed more to teeny boppers than Punks, but for whatever reason they decided to keep the German Eagle. The Eagle is related to, but distinctly different from the Roman Legion Eagle. Even the Boy London website didn't try to hide the fact the Eagle was taken from Nazi Germany. I strongly discourage you from getting the tattoo.

A close friend of mine owned a small Punk Boutique in the 70's. This boutique stocked both Seditionaries and BOY, the first, and only independent retailer of Vivienne Westwood and BOY at that time in England. In the early 80's he was the go between for Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, and Stephan Raynor hammering out the deal for BOY to buy the Seditionaries catalogue when Westwood changed the name to Worlds End and steered away from the Punk image. He continued to design for BOY until the mid 80's when he opened his own Boutique in the Hyper Hyper Market and managed to obtain the rights to reproduce a number of Seditionaries/Worlds End, and BOY designs. Both his ex-wife and daughter have modeled for Vivienne Westwood, and he is still one of the best known dealers of vintage Vivienne Westwood in the world."

Luin että BMW tuki natseja, joten Bemarit kaatopaikalle!
Porsche teki Hitlerille autoja ja koska Wolkkari omistaa Porschen nykyään niin nämäkin kaikki autot sitten rohkeasti vaan kaatopaikalle.
Jaa, kyllä tytöltä noita löytyy mutta enpä ajatellut ottaa niitä pois. Pitäkööt päällään jos haluaa.
No hohhoijaa, eiköhän se hakaristi ole kuitenkin tunnetumpi kuin tuo kotka, mitä sitten jos on sama kuvio... Eikö ristiäkään saa pitää, onhan kristinuskon varjollakin ihmisiä tapettu? Jokseenkin hysteeristä reagointia mielestäni... Hassua miten tietyt symbolit on ihan ok, mutta kun pikkuisenkin liittyy natseihin niin kauhea haloo...

En jaksanut lukea koko alkuperäistä tekstiä, mutta pelkästään tuon sinun lainauksesi perusteella tulkitsisin sen niin, että natsi saksan kotka pohjautuu rooman valtakunnassa käytettyyn kotkaan, mutta on kuitenkin selkeästi erilainen kuin se. Ja siis tämä boy london käyttää juuri tuota ns. natsikotkaa.
Ihan ot, niin natsit lainasivat paljon symboleitaan muualta aina siitä hakarististä lähtien.

Mulla on ihan aito hakaristi paita jotta ei kyllä mua hetkauta.Miksi antaisitte pitää kommari tähtiä?Kommunismi tappanut enemmän kuin natsismi ja tappaa edelleen..joku kivat sata miljoonaa kuollutta.Myös vauvallani on white pride t-paita.Black pride paita olisi muotia mutta kun siinä lukee että white pride niin hui se on niin kamalaa..

Minulla oli Boy London-mekko ja collegepaita joskus vuonna 1986, ostin Lontoosta :) Onko ne taas tulleet muotiin?
