Original story of eauty and the Beast

Mme Beaumont's Beauty and the Beast is actually a condensed version of Villeneuve's long story whos published just sixteen years previously. In the Villeneuve's story, wicked fairy is Beast's aunt and Beauty's mom. Fairy falls in love to Beast, but th young beast doesn't love the fairy, his aunt. He reject she, and fairy, in angry, curse the chateau. Beauty's father is a rich merchant with a very big family, but they lose their fortune and the merchant is making a bankruptcy. The merchant goes on a huge town and finds the cursed chateau. An unlucky man steals one rose, whereby the beast attacks and requires to the daughter of merchant to be compensate for the rose. So the Beauty accept and the merchant can keep her life. She spends her time exploring the places and the beast until she gets a homesickness. A friendly beast understands and lets her return to home. However, Beauty dwell in too long and the heart of the beast breaks. Finally, the curse breaks down, the beast returns to a handsome prince, the widow queen arrives home from war, she explains all things, and the wicked fairy flies away with white stags-driven chariots. Beauty and the beast remain cousins and go happily marry. Beaumont's add to Villeneuven's book was to make Beauty's sisters are wicked too and at the end the wicked fairy take revenge and she turn them into statues. There is no such in the Villeneuve's story, but the whole beauty's family can be live happily in the chateau. I recommend reading, the drama is more messy than the Beauty and Bold's plot.
