One thing I really enjoyed about this clip from Margin Call is that I believe it very accurately depicts what is going on in many meeting rooms during similar situations. I love how the CEO doesn't pretend to be the smartest in the room, he hired these people because they are smarter than him, and leaves the information gathering, risk assessments, etc. to them. Even though they are the ones that gather all of that data, he knows it is still up to him to make the final decision. Being a leader, especially in an extremely tough situation like this is never easy. I really like how the CEO remained as calm as he did in the meeting despite the great intensity of the situation. The CEO doesn't really care about formalities or being addressed a certain way, he just wants to know exactly what is going on so he can make the best decision for the company, and I think that is great out of a leader. Another thing that is very noteworthy in this clip is that everyone is early to the meeting, doesn't matter that it is 3 AM or whatever, everyone is dressed appropriately, early and ready to work, that is how you know they respect their leader.
