Dear Poles, long ago I remember this was spread among Ukrainians. I believe you need it now.
What to do when you hear a Shaheed. You may be afraid, but you must act faster than fear can paralyze you.
1.Do you hear the sound? Act immediately
Do not analyze or guess. If you hear a low, humming sound, act quickly. In 30 seconds it may be above your roof.
2.Stop recording. This is not a movie
No video is worth your life. Hide your phone. Shrapnel does not warn, it kills.
3.Step away from the window
Glass flies like blades. The window is the most dangerous place. Move as far as possible, ideally to the center of the apartment.
4.Find two solid walls between you and the street
Kitchen with windows is not safe. Windowless bathroom is good. Hallway is ideal.
5.Lie on the floor, stay silent
Cover your head with your hands. Shrapnel flies in an arc, so you must stay below its trajectory.
6.Outside? Stay low and behind concrete
Fences and bushes will not protect you. The best is to lie behind a concrete wall or fall into any depression. If nothing is available, just lie down.
7.In a car, become invisible
Turn off the engine and lights. Leave the car and find shelter, an underground passage, or a low spot. Lie near a parapet, curb, on asphalt near the car, or under the car. Light and movement attract drones.
8.Cover your ears and open your mouth
This protects you from the shock wave. It can save your hearing and lungs. It is a small thing, but it works.
9.Do not move until it is silent for at least 10 minutes.
The second strike is often the most dangerous. Silence after the first explosion may be a trap. Endure it and lie still.
