What are some romantic things i can do for my bf near Riihimäki?

if im being entirely honest, hes kinda weird when it comes to romancey schmancey stuff and he doesnt have normal hobbies that i can easily just go out and buy stuff for. not to mention that Riihimäki is not a very large area. i think wed have to drive a bit to go out on cool dates and stuff like that.
i know that during the summer, when ill be there, were gonna go to the aviation museum so he can see his precious mig 21, but thats all i can think of thatd hed really enjoy.

Glass museum, hunting museum, art museum. The toystore (Riihimäen pieni lelukauppa) is also a sight to see in it's own right even though it isn't romantic per se. During the summer go to cafe Torni, awesome views of entire Riihimäki from up there. If you want something fun to do together there's the escape room company Rollagga, they have bomb-ass escape rooms and I'm saying this as someone who works at one. Then there's the movie theatre for a classic movie date.
If you're willing to take an 8 minute train ride to Hyvinkää there are some good restaurants, my vote goes to Slo room, very cozy and amazing food.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there's more. I've lived here for 14 years now and absolutely love it here despite how crazy that sounds lmao.
I live in Hämeenlinna, not that far by train. Our mideval castle is romantic and he might be interested in the military museum next to it 😉
You can easily travel from Riihimäki to other locations by train, I believe? If you don't find anything interesting at Riihimäki why not just try something else! Turku, Helsinki and Tampere all have a lot to offer and are not too far.

There is a Finnish language course in Riihimäki Kansalaisopisto, try that one.
