Free english test - tell me about your day!

Ha, have to try at least. My hubby speaks native English because he has grown up foreign countries and studied in brittish schools. He always reminds me how terrible and bad my english is and correct my pronouncing. This habbit has made me very shy and I try not to use my english if he' s around. Before I met him, I used to think that language is just a way of communication and it's only purpose is to get people to understand you. Now I know better. It is a weapon people use gladly if it makes them feel more better and value than others. If you don't handle the language, youre not supposed to use it. Shame on you if you try suckers!!!

I hope that you'll give me some notes about my English skills. Well, what about my day... I woke up around 10 am and headed to the bathroom to wash my teeth. While washing my teeth I made funny faces and laughed at myself :D But then everything started to go downhill... I made some breakfast (toast and jam) but my toaster burned them. :( An above all I scrubled with a bike when I was on my way to the supemarket and my knee is still sore. Fortunately made dog made my day way better when I got home from the shop. He got all exited (as he alway does)- wagged his tale and licked my face all over. Now I'm sitting on the couch and watching Gossip Girl from Netflix. :) Today was a pretty good day afterall.

I'm hoping to get some tips how to improve my English :) It's been several years since I've studied and/or spoken it.

A few notes (since you asked). 

- "brushed" your teeth is more correct than "washed"

- the dog wagged its "tail" rather than "tale", which means a story

- I'm not sure what "scrumbled" means in this context. Did you mean you fell off your bike?

- watching Gossip Girl "on" Netflix, rather than "from"

Otherwise, perfect! I'm impressed with how much you know with not having studied or spoken English in years.

Are you in France too? Lol. I'm actually rather surprised to meet people who speak even a little English here. The French are still bitter by the fact that English is the international language, and not French. The French call Brits "rosbeef" and Brits call the French "frogs". True story.

It's been a rough week so my plan was to take it easy on the weekend I woke up around 9, had breakfast (oatmeal and cottage cheese) and watched some tv. In the afternoon i went to the kettlebell training. Boy, was it though today. But i felt great afterwords. Then i lunch with my friends and did some grocery shopping with my husband. After that i've been just at home. I was suppose to do some cleaning but i was so tired that instead of cleaning i end up napping.

Aika avartavaa on myös asua maassa, jonka virallinen kieli on englanti, ja todeta, että tässäkin maassa (USA, NC) on laumoittain ihan omia kansalaisia, jotka eivät puhu englantia lainkaan. Tälle ryhmälle on tarjolla valtion (/kunnan / piirikunnan/ mikä tahansa instanssi julkisia koulupalveluita rahoittaakaan) rahoittama tulkkipalvelu esim. lasten kouluasioiden järjestämisessä.
