Psykiatrini luulee että olen psykoottinen (in English) APUA tarvitaan
In English because of reasons
So I was at a psych ward for like 7 weeks. I got a diagnosis of unspecified psychosis which is inaccurate in my opinion. I have never had hallucinations, only paranoia, and delusions. My delusions include stuff like thinking my parents are plotting to kill me and that I'm going to be poisoned by gas, persecutory type stuff...
Also that my belongings have cyanide in them and that I have to wash my hands etc because of it.
I think I have BPD (borderline personality disorder) instead of psychosis. Any advice would be appreciated
I am on Abilify (15mg) for the "psychosis"

Luulenpa, että psykiatrit tietää aika paljon psykoosista.
Sairaudentunteen puuttuminen on psykoosissa hyvin tyypillistä.
Sairaudentunto löytyy, psykoosia ei vaan ole.
I recommend you to tell your doctor about that your feeling is still quite bad, and also, ask or search if you have some religious help in your city. Christian church, Christian doctors who could help you. You might feel better when someone is taking your situation as an real attack from something unseen, they don't call you delusional (even those are delusions caused by evil). They can talk with you and make you feel safer, hopefully.
Doctors may seem cold when they call you with medical terms, but it is not that they think you just made up things and imagine these horrible experiences you have - they know that your suffering is terribly real for you! They have spend years studying these things.
Medicine is the most strong help they have found to help that feeling, so that's why they give it to you. And if nothing else helps, you should take stronger doze for a moment. It is better than being crushed by the sick thoughts which lead you to those nightmares which you can't wake up. Psychosis is also dangerous for your brain, as you know it doesn't let you rest and you are all the time overwired. Your brain needs peace, before it gets too shattered.
You keep saying meds are poison and bad for you. It would be good for you to understand that the dosage makes the poison. Even just water can kill you if you drink too much at once. And many people would not be alive if it weren’t for their medication.

Anyway. Psychosis does not mean you have to have hallucinations. Some may have them, some don't. What you have are the delusional beliefs of your parents wanting to kill you. That is not normal and is very common with psychosis episodes, especially the fear of being killed (or often also by being stalked or watched).
Often person who has psychosis episodes does not believe they are sick or that they are as sick as other people think they are.
Answers in English and Finnish are both fine.
Also, most psychosis cases have hallucinations so I feel invalid with my experiences because of it.
Being called delusional by the psychiatrist is really hurtful to me.
There is no "most psychosis cases have hallucinations".
Your believes are real to you, but they are not 'real' if you understand what I'm trying to say. It's like if I would fear going out and that a plane would crash on to me as soon as I step out of the door. Those fears would be real to me, but they are very unlikely to happen.
I guess you are right. Also literally every psychosis case portrayed in the media is about hearing voices and being violent and I am not like that.
The reason they don't make news about every psychosis case is because most of them wouldn't be really "news worthy". People love to read shocking news and often those with horrible end results make people read them.
Also I think you might be also mixing schizophrenia with psychosis. Schizophrenia has psychotic episodes, but doesn't mean someone who has psychosis has schizophrenia.
There is also very different level of psychosis episodes. Some may have stronger symptoms and other ones much lighter ones. But a fact is that having fears such as your parents wanting to kill you that have no actual base of them are not thoughts of someone who is mentally stable.
This doesn't take away the fact that you might have BPD too, but those kinds of thoughts that you have are not common with BPD. But you can have BPD and a psychotic episode at the same time. It's actually known that BPD people might have these kind of "mania episodes".

You should move your body and do some excercies. Movement makes good for mental health

For the short moment they are better for you than the active psychosis. Just to shut it down. They can't harm you more than the psychosis, and if you win your sickness you can be medicine free.
If you don't want more medicine, seek religious healing. Don't be alone. But be careful and do not lie to your doctor about taking medicine if you don't. Tell about your delusions if they continue.
It is better to be trusting, if you believe you will be cured with the medicine and the help from others, it is possible to happen. I'm sending you are making delusions about how the medicine will ruin you, or the medicine is some scary plan to make you brain dead. Trust me, it is not true. You can benefit from the meds.
I'm praying for you to find God and see reason.

I do not know if I believe in any higher power but can't deny the existence of one. I think I am agnostic.
I do not want to take medicine, I truly think its harmful for my brain.

I do not want to talk about my delusions because the doctors think I am insane, cuckoo, totally nuts, crazy etc.
And I would get injected with long-acting versions of antipsychotics if I refused to take my meds.

I understand already.¨
I meant mental health medication, not stuff like insulin or blood pressure meds.

So go to talk to some priest or imaam who doesn't think you are crazy, but possibly either possessed or close to be. Ruqyah is believed in Islamic tradition to expell evil, you can search that or other recitation in Youtube and see if it helps. Muslims also think shaytaan causes a person to go insane with evil whispers (giving you these false ideas) there are verses of that in their Holy book.
So you can find people who don't want to necessarily give you medicine, but information and otherkind of help.
I think it is a good step you made this topic and maybe you are on your path to something good. Sometimes people go trough hard times but end up better than ever, think it like you are like a diamond in the process. Diamonds are formed upon a very high pressure. Don't be ashamed of what you go trough.
You just have to acknowledge you are under a real sickness to start get better.

I find contradictory points in your text. First, you say I am not crazy, then you say I am under a sickness. I don't know what to believe honestly...
