Son refuses to sleep without mom

Son is sleeping next to hes sister in a twin bed.
lil sis is sleeping happily while son is constantly crying or waking up every half an hour to ask if mom is going to come sleep and what is mom doing?
No matter what we try, our dear son will not stop until mom comes to sleep in her bed and our son sees it..
Our son is 6 years old and hes little sister is 3.
Help!
We moved to finland and my finnish isn't good yet so i prefer english.

France is multiracial now so that's like saying "we are from earth".
Have you asked your son why it is so important for him to see his mom go sleep? Does he wait there and watch as your wife(?) falls asleep? If not have you tried bluffing? Mom goes to bed to please difficult son and once the son is satisfied mom gets up again and you continue your adult evening how ever you like.
Do you have sleeping routines? If not, then those could be used here. Reading to kids, listening to calming music, stroking the child until he falls asleep. Make good atmosphere for sleep. Good luck!
