Hi all! I'm an Australian exchange student, and I'm wondering why you can't buy beer after 21 in Finland?
I think it's kinda wierd that you can't buy beer anytime you want to! Do you think think this is okay?

Oletteko kehitysvammaisia vai miksi luulette AP:n olevan oikeasti australialainen
Kirjoittaa wierd on tyypillinen virhe ihmiselle, jolla on suomi äidinkieli.
Kirjoittaa of, kun pitäisi kirjoittaa have, on tyypillinen virhe ihmiselle, jolla on englanti äidinkieli.
In Finland we have this thing called draw a pea into your nose.
You can't buy alcoholic beverages after 21.00 in the evening because that specific law is there for reason. Our government wants to protect public from the effects of over consumption of alcohol. Another reason might be that, it also gives government a good way to earn extra money. You can buy alcohol after 21.00 but only from licensed alcohol vendors. Such in this case are restaurants, nightclubs ans etc. that have alcoholic beverage license.
many exchange students from australia in porvoo?

Kerro se rantaruotsalaisille. Perkele!
Because finland is a nanny state number one. We are not a normal western country, more like DDR in the past. Everything is controlled by the state in finland.
