Ei voi sanoa noin, end of. Tai siis voi, mutta vaikutat tomppelilta joka ei osaa kieltä (ehkä koska olet tomppeli joka ei osaa kieltä?).

wow i'm so shocked at this turn of events like how did i not expect that this random person online has learnt this random fact and then goes around throwing it at people like it makes them so much more intelligent than anybody, even though the fact is irrelevant and incorrect and the most importantly, hopelessly outdated
like, for instance, i could go around saying that "Mutta täydellä Cuulla taita tulla lensiämmäxi" is proper finnish, but i don't, because a) nobody would really be that interested and b) i'm a person who understands the concept of how language evolves with time, and how practices surrounding it that once were relevant and considered correct, are now merely things of the past
the point here being that you can't seriously go abroad to an english-speaking country and throw around phrases like "what say you" and still be considered someone who's being "grammatically correct"
k thanks bye
Most importantly doesn't require the definite article. Also, you are someone that understands, not a person who understands- in English at least.
