At the border
Provide all required information and documents, including:
ArriveCAN receipt
pre-entry COVID-19 test results
other travel documents
Answer all eligibility, vaccination and health screening questions.
If you have symptoms, follow the instructions provided by the government representative.
Follow the instructions upon entry to complete an arrival test.
This test may be conducted at the airport, offsite or you may be provided a self-swab test kit at the border to take home.
If you are not tested on site, you must complete and submit your specimen collection for processing within 24 hours of entering Canada.
After entry
Complete your mandatory 14-day quarantine in a suitable location, such as your home.
If you do not have a suitable location, you may be sent to a designated quarantine facility.
Take an additional test on day 8 of your mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Follow the handout given to you at time of entry, as well as all additional federal, provincial/territorial and local public health measures, including wearing a well-constructed mask en route to your place of quarantine.
Answer compliance verification calls from the Government of Canada. You may also receive a visit at your place of quarantine.
If you test positive, develop symptoms, or are exposed to someone with signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during the next 14 days, you are required to isolate for 10 days from the time the positive test was taken, the start of symptoms, or starting the day of exposure, even if your province or territory has a shorter isolation period.
You also need to contact the Public Health Agency of Canada at 1-833-641-0343 within 24 hours."

On järkeä. Minä en ainakaan matkusta mihinkään maahan, jossa vaaditaan testiä tai on maskipakko. Rokote saa luvan riittää. Onneksi sopivia maita on paljonkin.

"Starting April 1, 2022, pre-entry tests will no longer be required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada by land, air or water."
Mutta rokottamaton joutuu testaamaan itsensä negatiiviseksi ja olemaan 14 päivää karanteenissa.
