Let's speak English!!!
My English is so bad but I really want to learn it. I want to speak English better in future. Because that I think that maybe this could be good idea. I don't care if that text was some spelling mistake. The point is, that I would be more courageous in English.
Hopefully you can encourage me! :)

You speak better English than me. Go girl! or boy or so on :p
What are you doing today? What do you think, what is the best way to learn in English?
I'm noticed that I'm really shy to speaking English! About that my English is so bad, I think. Now I want to learn it very hard and speak it so much! In future I want to working in abroad or working in airplane, so English is very important language to me in future. Earlierly, I didn't know what I want! I think that English is not important language to me! But it is! Everything is so much easier when you speak English well.

Go for it, remember jealoysy eats fish from water.
Maybe you should plan a trip to London. There you can speak English and hear many different accents. You can also visit museums and listen to the guides explaining everything in the exhibition. Flights to London are often very cheap, but if this is not possible, you can join an English class at your local "kansalaisopisto" or chat on international websites. Even commenting on YouTube can help you to improve your English.
Enjoy the learning process and come back here to tell us, how your studies are advancing.

Jealoysy :D
Finnish people tend to underestimate their language skills. You speak much better English than you think! And besides, who cares about silly little mistakes as long as your message gets through to others :)
My best advices are to
1) watch tv shows and movies without subtitles if possible
2) listen to foreign radio stations online
3) speak English as often as you can! That's the best way to learn! Speak to yourself if you don't have a friend to chat with.
I thoroughly recommend joining an English discussion group in a local "kansalaisopisto" or "Työväenopisto", especially if you feel shy about speaking English. For me, it was an eye-opening experience. At school, I did really well in English (straight tens and a Laudatur) but I absolutely dreaded speaking it. Then my good friend pretty much forced me to attend one of those evening courses. I was so scared I seriously considered throwing myself down the stairs so that I would break my leg and would not have to go. :-) But I gathered my courage, went, and it was really really good fun! And the more you speak, the more confident you feel. Now, years later, I do all my work in English and don't think twice about speaking it.

This posts timing couldn't be better! I'm going to London in May with my boyfriend and I'm a bit nervous to be honest. My English is good in writing but I haven't used it since.. ever!:D plus I haven't studied it in a long time. I tend to freeze whenever I have to communicate (orally) in English, especially if someone close (boyfriend, mom and so on) is there with me.
If I was going alone, there wouldn't be a problem. I'm not scared when I'm alone. I have no problem producing English language, for example right now. I probably made a few mistakes but no harm done, I think this comment is beyond understandable. I think my problem is that I'm too much in my head and overthink about things.. "do i sound dumb? Is my accent weird?" Things that no one really gives a fu*ck except me :D plus I feel awkward if I have to speak English with people (or in front of) whose native language is same as mine.
So, this post is so good ! Maybe I have to practice expressing myself in English.
Hej så länge!
