Youre definitely not the only one, the system can feel pretty impractical in situations like yours. When your shifts vary week by week and public transport only works for some of them, it really doesnt reflect how people actually commute. The tax offices logic makes sense on paper, but in real life it forces you to track everything retroactively and make guesses about bus use you cant realistically plan for. At least youre doing things by the book, but its understandable that the setup feels a bit absurd when youre driving most days anyway.
