This case has now finally reached the tipping point - like the Diana story, it has tipped over into utter lunacy. For whatever reason (money for all concerned, not to mention desperation by the suspects) it is now far beyond parody.



Just in the last few days, off the top of my head, we have had:



Spanish anti-company fraud agency claims it' s sure Madeleine is alive in an obscure area of Morocco, apparently with a 60 year-old local woman who whisks her away at every opportunity, even though numerous people have got close enough to observe the child' s eye condition. The international call has gone out to trace this couple, thus guaranteeing her death sentence, if it' s M.



Madeleine is a little maid in a rich gulf state like Morocco , in the service of a rich Arab family who use her as their freak-show plaything.



An American girl has miraculously been found in the mountains of Morocco. Oddly, not one single American newsaper has written a single word on this subject.



A man was seen " lurking" outside the apartment in 2006. In 2002 someone probably at some point dug a hole in Murat' s garden.



There are many more on a daily basis. Coupled with rotting food, incontinent twins, open soiled nappies, 30 guests, wagging Lassies, Arab gypsy encampments, about 40 supposed sightings of assorted weirdoes and paedos in the vicinity ion the night in question (recalled only 6 months later by brain-damaged village i*****) we have a circus of such preposterousness that the tabloid writers must be whistling on their way to work every morning.
