Useita kuollut räjähdyksessä hiihtokeskuksessa Sveitsissä

Pelkästään lapsia on kuollut ravinnonpuutteeseen viimeisen vuorokauden aikana noin 10 000 ja tälläinen muutaman kymmenen ihmisen kuolema nousee uutisiin.

RTS uutisoi tietoihinsa perustuen räjähdyksen tapahtuneen ravintolan kellarikerroksessa yöllä 1.30 aikaan. Sivuston mukaan baariin mahtuu 400 henkilöä.

Niin? Sehän on ihan normaalia järjestää ilotulitus kellarissa puoli kahdelta yöllä. Eiks teillä oo koskaan?

A woman who witnessed the blaze start said fire broke out when a waiter, carried on a colleague's shoulders, held a candle too close to the ceiling.

A survivor of the blaze told French news channel BFM: During the evening, a waiter climbed onto another waiter's shoulders.

He was holding a birthday candle, which was very close to the ceiling, and [the ceiling] caught fire in a couple of minutes.

Another witness, Emma, said the fire seemed to start after people celebrated with champagne bottles that contained candles. 

'Some of the bottles were near the ceiling and it caught fire. The whole ceiling was in flames and the fire spread really fast. It happened in seconds. We ran outside, screaming and crying,' she told BFM. 

Victoria gave a similar testimony. 'It was firework candles inside a champagne bottle that caused the explosion. The entire ceiling of the bar caught fire,' she said.

'All the windows were black and opaque with smoke,' she added. She believes many of the victims suffocated.

'Some people smashed windows to let in air,' she said. 'I'm still shaking; many were crying as they left. It was mass panic.'

Jos tuo on totta, täysin järjetöntä toimintaa. 

Ja kynttilät. Nehän siis paitsi tuottavat palaessaan ihmisille vaarallisia pienhiukkasia, ovat mitä pahin riski tulipalojen kannalta. Olisivat käyttäneet led-kynttilöitä niin olisi monta ihmistä säästynyt kuolemalta.

Rasismista tyhmentää sinut. Ei käy mielessä että pyrotekniikkaa ja raketteja voisi valkoinen ihminen säilyttää väärin. Mutta mitäpä siinä, pelottavaa että tuollaisia idiootteja Suomessakin, täytyy näköjään alkaa pelätä ihan sitä että suomalainenkin ihminen voi olla niin koppava, ylemmyydentuntoinen ja tyhmä ettei ymmärrä että räjähteet ja tuli/korkea lämpö voi aiheuttaa räjähdyksiä ihan ilman muslimeitakin.

Katossa on mahdollisesti voinut olla pölyä, hämähäkin seittejä, uuden vuoden muovi- ja paperikoristeita jne. Niitä pitkin tuli lähtee äkkiä eteenpäin. Karmea tapaus!

Fire broke out in the bar and spread rapidly. Authorities are describing it as a deflagration, a relatively quick combustion process that led to the rapid spread. An investigation has been launched, and there are indications of a possible connection to celebrations involving sparklers, fireworks, or pyrotechnics. Attorney General Beatrice Pilloud explicitly stated: "An attack can be absolutely ruled out."

Hiihtokeskus kuulostaa romanttiselta. Kumpa olisivakin olleet rinteessä eikä ryyppäämässä niin vahingot ehkä jääneet pieniksi.

Olikohan taas jälleen kerran hätäpoistumistiet lukossa ja täynnä rompetta kuten kaljakoreja, tuoleja ja pöytiä?

Tuollaista tapahtuu vielä vuonna 2026? Viime vuosituhannella vielä ymmärtäisi, että huono vain tuuri kävi.
