WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT. A 'barbaric' Nepalese festival which sees a goat torn apart by villagers using their bare hands and teeth has stunned international animal rights campaigners. PETA and the Animal Welfare Network Nepal are demanding the 900-year-old festival, held in Khokana village in the Kathmandu Valled, is banned once and for all. Shocked members of the public have backed the campaign through several online petitions which have been signed more than 50,000 times by people across the world.
