My thoughts about on Arsenal 1-2 Brighton

I'm really trying to not be hyperbolic, but I genuinely feel like I'm watching Arsenal slowly but surely slip into not being a powerhouse club anymore.
The last few years have been tough, the last few weeks have been tough. But it was watching this game, no win in a month and a half, struggling to remember the last time I enjoyed watching us play, that for the first time I really considered "what if we just aren't going to become good again?"
Top 4 is basically an impossibility at this point, Europa League seems more and more doubtful. The owners won't invest money to fix things, what good manager is gonna want to join us now?
I dunno, this is probably all reactionary, but it's not coming from anger. Just sadness. I'm just bloody sad.

It's not all bad. There was something very good about their last season: they reached Europa League final!
