What do you think about my english? How bad is it?
It would be nice to speak and write english perfectly, or even close to it. I have studied english in comprehensive school and after that in vocational school (mikä on ammattikoulu?). I know that my english is not even close to perfect, but I have decided to practice it so maybe someday it's better. Much better I hope...
I think I understand english better than I speak or write it. But sometimes, if someone speaks too quickly or with different kind of (korostus?) I don't understand anything.
Maybe my biggest problem is that I'm too shy to speak english. I hate when I don't know how to say things right. Here I can write to you, because you don't know me so I can write in anonymous :)
So, how bad was this? Did you underestand me? And please make my sentenceds (lauseet?) correct, so I can see where I wrote wrong and maybe I learn something today too.
(And yes, you can laugh, if you want)

Some times ago - a year or so - I tried to get people write in English and Swedish here but I didn't quite succeed. But let's try it now! Maybe we will succeed this time.
I have also been saying that my English is so bad, too.
What about if you started a blog in English about something and then you have to write there something every day. It is not difficult to find subjects about what to write. You can get ideas from here and elsewhere. Start to follow some foreign newspapers or some magazines for people intrested in some hobby or their etc.
Let's see how long this chain of yours will remain alive here now this time! Isn't here on vauva.fi some discussion forum in English for English speaking mothers in Finland? Check the front page!
Languages are capitalized in English language. Your English is fine. One can totally understand what you want to say. However, correct spelling makes one seem smart and well educated. That's why I would pay attention on spelling, whether you write in English or Finnish.
You can check words on sanakirja.org. I would also recommend reading some books in English. That will improve your vocabulary.
Maybe you could find a way to speak English with someone, perhaps a class or a new friend. That way you will get used to different accents. To be honest, accents can be a bit tricky to even native speakers. I live in US but it's hard for me to understand Irish people who have a strong accent.
Keep on practicing! That's the way to learn new skills!!
Teksti tosin kuulostaa aika tönköltä,sellaiselta lause lauseen perään tiätkö? Kieltä pitäisi vähän rikastuttaa sanonnoilla ym

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITH THIS? Please, let us know! Thanks a lot in advance.

She also feels herself too shy to speak. I speak both swedish and english to her but she allways replies in finnish.
You write rather good text with only minor typos. I am finnish but I have some english speaking friends and I have to speak english often. Take a look at http://www.vauva.fi/keskustelut/alue/38/foreign_mothers_in_finland.

And it's even more (tönkköä) if I try to discuss with somebody, when there is no time to think carefully what to say next. Then my english is sometimes just words after words :D
But thank you for you answers, I'll keep on practicing :)
By the way, what would "ap" be in english?

Wouldn't it be nice if we were older
Then we wouldn't have to wait so long
And wouldn't it be nice to live together
In the kind of world where we belong
You know it's gonna make it that much better
When we can say goodnight and stay together
Wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up
In the morning when the day is new
And after having spent the day together
Hold each other close the whole night through
Happy times together we've been spending
I wish that every kiss was never ending
Wouldn't it be nice
Maybe if we think and wish and hope and pray
It might come true
Baby then there wouldn't be a single thing we couldn't do
We could be married
And then we'd be happy
Wouldn't it be nice
You know it seems the more we talk about it
It only makes it worse to live without it
But let's talk about it
Wouldn't it be nice
