Kammottavaa:
Brian Heidik, 38, winner of Survivor: Thailand was arrested Tuesday on misdemeanor battery and animal cruelty charges after allegedly shooting a puppy that had wandered into his backyard with a bow and arrow. He was taken into custody and later released on a $6,000 bond. The pup, which was shot below its ribcage, survived the ordeal.
¿I don¿t think he¿s ever adapted to real life since [Survivor],¿ Heidik¿s wife, 34-year-old Charmaine Heidik, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, adding that her husband has been ¿spiraling out of control.¿
The couple have a history of discord. In December 2002, Charmaine Heidik agreed to undergo counseling in return for the dismissal of a charge that she punched her husband in the nose.
Yes, it¿s probably safe to say to say that he who breaks out the crossbow to resolve his differences with a puppy probably isn¿t so much in control. Meanwhile, we fully expect producer Mark Burnett to spin off the program with Survivor: Heidik Backyard, in which the couple battle each other and wayward house pets for control of the patio.
